Lesson Schedule

IMG-20170705-WA0007International Baccalaureate (IB) Program will be conducted by Mr Alex Toh.

Mr Alex graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Master of Science(MSc.) degree in Chemistry. He has been tutoring Chemistry for more than 10 years and has experience with tutoring IB Chemistry for the past 6 years.

While tutoring IB Chemistry, he finds himself aligning and agreeing to the purpose and goals of the IB program in developing not only knowledgeable and inquiring, but also caring and compassionate students. He will usually provide students with interesting real-life examples linked to topics in Chemistry, such as the relevance of the subject in medical science, and how it can make lives better. Mr Alex is a firm believer that ‘practice makes perfect’ and will provide a lot of different questions and examples to ensure his students are able to develop a flexible and systematic thought process, allowing them to easily apply what they have learnt. To that end, his IB students will usually graduate with excellent grades in their IB Chemistry.
